About
Who am I?
My name is Brad, a 33 year old computer geek. I started life in computers around age 7, and from there the rest is history. I went to a technical school which I graduated from in 1997, and went right to work for a telecom billing provider, writing COBOL and Perl. In spring of 2007, I transferred within the company to a support position for one of the core products out of Atlanta, GA, where I now work in a Unix/Linux environment.
I’m married to the love of my life, Bethany, as of February 29, 2008 and together we have a beautiful daughter, Emmalynn. Beth and I met via Second Life, and was the reason I moved down south, which is something I had always wanted to do anyway. See, things do happen for a reason.
Why endperform.org?
Well, endperform.org came from a bit of a joke, actually. There’s a statement in COBOL, END-PERFORM, which ends a block of code. I figured it would be geeky (if not funny) to use that to name the site, and now.. here we are.
About the site
The site is my personal site. I used to exclusively blog about technical things, but I’ve been expanding my topics to include things going on in my life. Technically, the site is powered by Wordpress with multiple plugins, and was relaunched in 2010.
