Such is Life
I’ve been rather quiet here lately, save for the random Linux-y post. This month has been a bit hard on me since it’s the month I lost my father (August 31st is the one year anniversary of his passing). I had been doing pretty well with things until this week, where I’ve had a heck of a time trying to keep things together. Thankfully I have Beth and don’t have to deal with this alone.
On the brighter side, my coworkers got together and bought us a couple of baby gifts: a bouncy chair, a changing mat, a 40.00 gift card and a safety rubber duck. There’s only 19 days to go until Emmalynn is here, and I can’t wait. Beth and I are both ready for her arrival. The heat has calmed down a bit here in the south; Of late it was getting up past 100 on a regular basis, but we survived it and now fall should be on it’s way. Should be nice to have a warm fall, where I can run around in shorts.
