August already
Time flys when you’re having fun. Here it is August already. Only *checks counter* 47 days until my baby girl is born. We’re pretty prepared, and really can’t wait. Of course, since we’re starting to get more and more excited, the month is going to drag on forever. I am glad, though, that I have something positive to focus on this year. Last year at this time I was dealing with the fact that I was about to lose my father.
The summer so far has been about what I’ve expected for being in the south. The heat itself isn’t so bad, but it’s the humidity. At least the apartment has central air, so that makes the heat easier to deal with. Other than that, everything else down here is fine. Work’s going well, and I can safely say life is good :)
