Time continues to tick by as we inch closer and closer to the birth of our girl. August should prove to be a slow month. The other 7 months so far have went by quick, but as the anticipation grows, I know it’s going to feel like forever. I received the question of the ages the other day at work: “Are you excited yet?”. While an innocent question, it’s one that has a well known answer. Yes. I can’t wait, and I keep writing that over and over again. The end of August / early September is going to cause me a mixed bag of emotions. While I’ll be filled with excitement, I’m sure thoughts of my father will be thrown in the mix, but it’s to be expected. It’s just hard to believe he’ll be gone a year next month.
