“Viva El Presidente!”
Another week is about in the books, and looking at the date I realize we’re just about halfway through July already. The time just seems to roll right on by. I’m betting, though, that August is going to be pretty slow. We’re getting pretty excited about Emma coming into our lives, and we both can’t wait. We also think there’s going to be fights over who gets to hold her. Somehow, though, I don’t think those fights are going to extend to who gets to change the diaper. Anyway, come September I’ll be taking two weeks off from work for her arrival.
Random Thoughts:
* The Ubuntu forums are not a good place to ask for help concerning your porno DVD rip.
* It’s hot in the south, but the air conditioning works fine
* TV in and of itself is so freakin boring, save for a couple of shows
Tomorrow should be a fun day. I have to work, but then Beth and I are going to get us some Cheesecake Factory goodness in celebration of year 1. Next year’s celebration will culminate with us saying ‘I do’. I love hanging out with her, but I’m betting if some people overheard some of our conversations, they might think we’re nuts.
Speaking of nuts, if you want to hear an insane radio program, check out Bubba the Love Sponge” (possible NSFW) on Sirius 101. Most of the time their topics are rauchfests, but still it makes for great radio. Especially funny is the oldest cast member, Ned. He’s 70, crazy and a trip. He does parody songs as well as prank phone calls and is definitely a riot to listen to. I recommend checking them out.
