“Hey, that’s my clause!”
I’ve actually been writing code again at work, which is a bit of a change from what I’m used to doing. That’s one of the things I like about my job, it’s not always the same thing day in and day out; there’s always something new or different coming up to keep me motivated. Speaking of that code, I may have an opportunity to rewrite some or all of the application. Right now it’s in PHP, which I may stick with, but there’s a part of me that seems to think the app could be done with Django / Python, based on what it’s doing. Either way, the app needs work.
Beth and Emma are doing well. There’s plenty of movement these days in her tummy, and it’s to the point where we can watch her stomach move from Emma’s kicks and movements. At first, I thought it was a little creepy, but it’s actually pretty cute. Poor Beth is feeling the effects, though. She’s been getting wore out pretty quick, and Emma seems to love resting on her bladder. I do what I can to keep her comfy and take care of things. We’re both just waiting for the moment we can hold her in our arms. I still wonder how the cat is going to act around her, but hopefully it won’t be an issue. All in all, life is going just fine and dandy down here in the south. We’re getting into the midst of summer, and contrary to what everyone told me before PA, I haven’t melted. Sure, it’s pretty humid, but it’s not extremely bad and it’s not like I haven’t felt heat like this before during the summer months.
